We are proud to announce that HomeHabit is out of beta. Over the last few years we were working hard to enhance the app with useful functionality and increase its stability. We are grateful to our users who continued believing in the project and appreciate your feedback and support.
How much will HomeHabit Premium cost?
Over the years, we have received many messages from users with concerns over potential subscription payment model. These concerns were often triggered by other dashboards adopting such approach. We listened to your feedback and worked hard to find balance between fixed payment and sustained development. HomeHabit will be adopting a one-time payment of $20 per license (or equivalent in other currencies). Each license provides a lifetime access to HomeHabit Premium features on one device. If you will need to change device in the future, license can be transferred as well.
We believe this pricing structure will best serve our users and reduce long-term financial commitment associated with subscription model.
For users whose needs are met without premium features, a starter version will be available for free.
Our thanks to the existing users
We want to thank all users who believed in the project and stayed with us throughout the beta. Your feedback and encouragements motivated us to move forward. To express our gratitude, we would like to offer current trial users a 50% discount. A trial license should be activated on a device to use the discount. Please take advantage of this offer within 3 months, before existing beta version expires.
For people who wish to find an alternative solution, we would like to provide sufficient time for a transition. As mentioned above, existing beta version will work for the next 3 months for all current users to adapt to the changes.
A few technical notes
We would like to add that per-device payment model is not supported by the Play Store out of the box like a regular subscription model. Because of that, we had to jump through a number of hoops to make this work. Therefore, we would like to ask you to be patient if any problems will emerge during purchase process.
Lastly, to make device-license association work, the app will periodically verify purchased license with the Play Store and the license server. This validation might require connection to the Internet.
