Volume up/down button HA

Hi

First off great work, liking the app :+1::+1:

I’m using HA and also have the SMARTIR custom component, which is a media player class.

I’m trying to add the volume up and down but having little success. Is this feature available yet? And how would I use it? A slider works for other media player components but the SMARTIR sends IR commands and as such a slider isn’t possible.

Is it possible to achieve this another way?

I don’t think there is a good way to achieve this at the moment.
I do like the idea of having an up/down option for dimmer widget or similar.

Cheers - I wouldn’t know where to start, so if it’s something you could look into I’m sure more than just myself would appreciate it.
