I have created a volume widget for my google home speaker from HA. It appears to work at adjusting volume, but goes back to 0 on refresh.
What is the state of it in HA? Can you provide full state with attributes.
I figured it out. I created the widget while the speaker was in ‘off’ state. This allowed the volume to adjust, but then quickly put it back to 0 - which is its state when off.
The volume stays at the correct number, as long as the speaker is in ‘on’ state.
