Thermostat Widget mode

Hello,

I am trying to use the thermostat widget’s ‘mode’ with Openhab. My thermostat has numerical values for this field so I created a virtual item (string type) with OFF, COOL and HEAT values. Even with this, the mode is not displaying. Am I missing anything obvious ?

@Pierre-Luc_Pelletier lower-cased values should work, e.g. cool, heat, off.
Also, if you want to add thermostat state that would need values: cooling, heating, off.

Thanks. That worked. Can you tell me what the expected/supported values for Fan mode are as well?

Fan mode supports on and auto values.
