Not sure if you are already tracking/aware, but the RTSP streaming seems to be very inconsistent. I’ve checked this running VLC on the stream sources and they stay in sync On the app, running on a galaxy tab a7, the stream will stall out and eventually, minutes later will catch-up, but generally the stream runs way behind realtime.
@mfinity RTSP stream slow down can be caused by a lot of factors. The app is configured to generally minimize any buffering and skip ahead when connection is slow for whatever reason, so there might something specific here.
Few questions:
When you checked using VLC, were you using VLC app on the same Android device?
What is the camera model?
Are you using RTSP integration or something else?
