After adding hass as a controller (with username empty as mentioned in other post), I can’t bind any item, there are no items to bind. I have tried switches and sensors.
I’m using a domain:8123 as I’m external.
Any idea?
Did you enter it as http[s]://domain:8123, otherwise that might be the issue.
The current version expects full valid URL, it is already fixed for the next version, which is not released yet.
Preview 2 release should fix platform URL issue mentioned above. Let me know if that’s addresses the problem you were having.
Yes that was it. Working now.
However now I get everything twice in the bind list.
First I thought this was the fact that I had added hass 2x but it stayed like that even after making the first invalid (deleted login and made url invalid)
Items are not going to be removed if platform is inaccessible, to avoid data loss. Platforms will be deletable soon, so that would fix it.
can the author please give a statement about this issue`nothing of mentiones ways described above worked. Using andoroid tablet with android 6x
@Thorsten_Frohlich There will be a UI update to test platform connection and actually report errors/disconnects which should point to the problem. Stay tuned.
@Thorsten_Frohlich/@Goswijn_Thijssen, the latest release has connection test during setup. To run it after platform was added, just edit the platform and go through the steps. Let me know how that goes.
Hi @igor Igor, this is the first time I actually found time to start playing around with the new client. However, I can’t even pass the connection test 
So, no luck with connecting to the server… Trying from the same tablet and using the exact same URL (http://192.168.1.2:8080) and without username/password, as I do with the other Rotini app. Any ideas?
Oh no… only OH2 support? 
OH1 has a lot of sync issues and OH2 has been stable for a while, so spending resources on OH1 support doesn’t seem like a good choice. Do you plan to switch to OH2?
