Have you guys considered making this into a replacement launcher for Android TV? I’ve been wanting to get smart home features on the main Android TV home screen, without much luck. I can’t think of any other way except to replace the launcher with one that is Home Assistant compatible.
It would need a container or widget for showing the installed apps next to the smart home information. Something like the following:
